Section 83 — Interpretation of Part

In this Part—“contract” means a contract whether express or implied and, if express, whether oral or in writing; “public authority” has the meaning given by section 78; “relevant Minister” means the Secretary of State or the [F1 Minister for the Cabinet Office] ; “Wales” has the same meaning as in the Government of Wales Act 2006.
