These Regulations amend the Police Pensions Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 ( S.R. 2015 No. 113 ) in order to amend the rates of contributions payable by members of the police pension scheme governed by these Regulations to address a shortfall in employee pension contributions identified by the Government Actuary in the 2020 police pension scheme valuation.
