These Regulations implement Commission Decision 2009/431/ EC granting derogation to England, Scotland and Wales pursuant to Council Directive 91/676/ EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources. They do so by amending the Action Programme for Nitrate Vulnerable Zones (Scotland) Regulations 2008.
They also correct minor errors in the tables in Schedules 1 and 3 to those Regulations.
