These Regulations bring into force on 1 April 2025 the provisions of the Moveable Transactions (Scotland) Act 2023 (asp 3) (“ the 2023 Act ”) which are yet to be commenced.
The Bill for the 2023 Act received Royal Assent on 13 June 2023. Sections 118, 119, 121 and 122 came into force on the following day. The remaining provisions of the 2023 Act are brought into force by these Regulations.
