These Regulations amend the Education (Information About Individual Pupils) (Wales) Regulations 2007 (“the 2007 Regulations ”). Regulation 2 amends the 2007 Regulations so as to require a governing body to provide to a local authority additional information to that it is already required to provide by virtue of the 2007 Regulations in relation permanent exclusions of pupils. Regulation 2 further amends the 2007 Regulations so as to require governing bodies to provide to local authorities information in relation to fixed period exclusions of pupils.
