This Order makes a consequential modification to the National Minimum Wage Act 1998 (“the 1998 Act ”).
Article 2 of this Order amends section 46(4) of the 1998 Act by inserting a reference to the Agricultural Sector (Wales) Act 2014 (“the 2014 Act ”). The provision ensures that a person cannot be prosecuted under both the 1998 Act and the 2014 Act for an offence arising out of the same conduct.
A Regulatory Impact Assessment has not been prepared for this Order as no impact on the public, private, charity or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
