When to use this tool

Use as soon as harassment begins โ€” contemporaneous notes carry far more evidential weight than reconstructed accounts. A well-organised incident log is essential when applying for a civil injunction under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997, reporting to the police, or making a Tribunal claim under the Equality Act 2010. Keep copies in a safe location separate from any shared devices.
