Consumer Claims

Faulty goods, undelivered orders, refused refunds — the full consumer route from retailer to small claims court.

Overview

Consumer law in England and Wales is dominated by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The Act gives three layers of remedy: a 30-day short-term right to reject (s.22), a right to repair or replacement (s.23), and a right to price reduction or final right to reject (s.24). For credit card purchases over £100, Section 75 Consumer Credit Act 1974 makes the card issuer jointly liable. This cluster covers the full route from initial complaint through ADR/ombudsman to small claims court.
